The AUG is now behaving normally since the patch a few days ago, marking this as fixed.

This can happen if you use the harpoon and then immediately buy a T weapon without cycling out of your #7 slot. Anything you buy for that slot will be automatically pulled out at that point. Fix for that will be live soon, and since this actually causes a somewhat related bug that was mentioned...

I believe I found a fix, shows promising results during testing at least. I will roll it out soon, once it is live I will make this thread public to see if people still have the problem.

Ah I see the problem, it takes both, but only pistol ammo actually updates your ammo correctly, disregard my last post, I'll get a fix for this out.

The AUG takes pistol ammo, similar to the m16, I tested it and it seems to work fine. I know it's a bit unintuitive, but if you think it should take SMG ammo instead, feel free to make a suggestion thread. I'll leave this open for a bit in case I'm misunderstanding something.

Had this bug myself yesterday right after using a harpoon, bought a Silenced Pistol after using it, (bought it while holstered) and the silenced pistol appeared as a knife.

I will look into this. Have you noticed which fun rounds this tends to happen with? i.e. Dodgeball, one in the chamber, flying scoutsmen? Also any errors in console?
