Monitoring malfunction becomes knife

Did this happen prior to the past week or recently in the past couple of days? We rolled out an update to address hit markers following people across multiple rounds when acted upon with the malfunction pistol.

and the kill credit glitch is like, half fixed from my experience

I've noticed this personally with the harpoon and other T weapons since a while ago (months). At the time I chalked it up to a simple gmod moment. It seems to happen somewhat randomly but this is most likely not actually the case considering it happens somewhat frequently.

My question is, because i think it may be related, did you use or pick up a harpoon at any time at all during that map (not just that round)?

there also has been a thing where my t weapons have been equipping immediately as i get them, but not consistently, it might happen sometimes then not another time, happens mainly w/ the knife

i haven't seen this for a while, not sure if its specific, rare, or fixed

Haven't seen it myself for some time. After doing some testing on a couple occasions I believe one of the factors is lag, but of course this bug is rather inconsistent...

Keeping this open in the meantime in case someone else runs into this problem.
